The aim was to allow working parents to find and book the back up childcare they wanted, and allow companies to subsidise the costs however they saw fit. Emergency Childcare is the only nationwide, completely flexible employee childcare solution available in the UK. How We Work
Via Emergency Childcare working parents can choose from over 600 Nurseries and 1000 Childminders registered nationally, or can elect to have a qualified experienced Nanny come to their home on as little as 2 hours notice. Bookings are made through the website (www.emergencychildcare.co.uk) or via a dedicated 24/7 booking line. Pre-registration is strongly recommended to parents.
Company contributions are calculated automatically and the care is guaranteed.
Who We Work With
We work with all the main childcare voucher providers - Accor Services, care-4, Sodexho Pass and Busy Bees. Having a back up childcare scheme in place is an excellent way of getting more employees to sign up for your voucher scheme. When not using any subsidy provided by their employer, parents can use their vouchers to pay for nursery spaces on the website.
We are also willing and able to link your back up childcare service into an employee assistance program or employee benefits scheme, and know and work with lots of the EAP providers.
