Oliver leads and motivates the Backup Care team to deliver consistently outstanding levels of service, while identifying where we can innovate and improve our current work processes.
His extensive copywriting experience is also put to good use on everything from parent and carer newsletters to promotional material for employer launches.
A proud father, Oliver has first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing working parents and is fully committed to the My Family Care cause.
Mishika started her career in childcare straight out of school. She managed to juggle her childcare work with furthering her education at college and then university. During this time she worked her way from a nursery assistant to part time room leader.
A self-confessed 'big kid', Mishika loves working with children, and decided to continue helping parents and carers at My Family Care.
Mishika's first-hand childcare knowledge and her 'always happy to help' attitude mean that she's able to offer excellent levels of customer service.
Mishika understands the day to day struggle of making work+family work and hopes to make the process easier for everyone using our services.
Often seen with two mobile phones, Mishika loves a good chicken dinner with Yorkshire pudding and dreams of being a TV presenter.
Mishika looks forward to speaking to you soon.
A qualified cheerleading coach, Clare keeps the team's energy up with her bubbly personality in-between the hundreds of backup care bookings we service each week.
Clare has a wealth of experience in childcare and teaching, spending ten years' in roles ranging from a special education needs teaching assistant, to working in reception, and as a sports teacher.
Having grown up in Arizona, Clare still has a fondness for Bean Burritos and cowboy boots.
In her spare time Clare (reluctantly) can be found working out in the gym, or (far more happily) watching cartoons! She also loves animals, and one day would love to own her own personal zoo. Alas there aren't many dolphin trainer vacancies in London.
Always willing to go the extra mile to help our registered parents and carers, Clare is an important member of the team.
Clare looks forward to speaking to you soon.
Andrea is often the first port of call for emergency phone calls. Her natural ability on the phone is a valued asset, as she supports families whose usual care arrangements have broken down.
Having previously worked within a nursery and private childcare environment, Andrea moved to My Family Care to further her career.
Helping hundreds of families find backup care when they need it most - Andrea plays an important role in making work+family a reality.
Never more than an arm's reach from her Blackberry, Andrea also enjoys a good Chinese meal out, but just don't ask her to a firework display - she'll run a mile.
A mum of two amazing kids, Kirsty genuinely loves looking after people, whether at home, in our office, or over the phone.
This is just one of the many reasons she works so well on our Backup Care team, taking care of the needs of our registered parents and carers on a daily basis.
Kirsty has a real passion for education and the sciences, having previously managed an adult education centre, and working for a consultant neurologist. With her children at primary and secondary school, she makes sure she's involved in what's going on in their education.
As half the office can testify, Kirsty loves to cook, and actively seeks out new projects, both at home and work - she loves finding out new things! This comes in particularly handy as we continually grow our service to meet customers' needs.
Kirsty looks forward to speaking to you soon.
Before joining the elite force that is our Backup Care team, Emilia worked for one of our nanny agency partners, helping to find right childcare for parents throughout London.
On top of her recent recruitment role, Emilia has hands on childcare experience, having previously worked as a nanny, an activity leader in a kids club, a childcare manager in a holiday resort... and even as a lifeguard.
This wealth of experience working with both children and parents, makes Emilia well equipped to deal with any issue that comes her way.
In her spare time Emilia can be found running, practising yoga, skiing, singing, baking, baking and singing, and spending way too much money in Starbucks! (Other coffee shops are available... just not to Emilia it seems.)
Emilia looks forward to speaking to you soon.
