COVID-19 Update (Coronavirus)
As we each adapt our lives during this unprecedented Coronavirus global crisis, we know that your regular childcare arrangements may be affected. Our dedicated team remains committed to supporting you and your loved ones
We're working to support parents
Our unique provider network brings together all types of childcare that are currently available near you.
The current network now includes 100's of nurseries (both Bright Horizons and other providers), childminders, and in-home nannies nationwide.
We're adding other childcare providers on an on-going basis as their status changes, and we are close to nationwide coverage.
We've reduced our booking fee
When the world is 'normal' we charge a booking fee to cover the management cost of our service, during the extraordinary time of the lockdown period we're reducing this to 5% to make our childcare more accessible.
Coronavirus: additional measures we're taking
We've produced guides for parents booking a nanny with us, and for our nannies attending bookings at this time:
The health and safety of your family and our team is our priority. To enable us to continue to provide care for families and prevent the spread of the virus, these additional measures have been introduced:
- If you request a nanny, please be assured that your nanny will not be allowed to attend if they are self-isolating or presenting any symptoms of coronavirus (without having completed a negative PCR test in the last 48 hours).
- If you or a member of your household is presenting symptoms of coronavirus (without having completed a negative PCR test in the last 48 hours) or if a member of your household is self-isolating for any other reason as per government guidance, we will not be able to provide a nanny.
For further information on the symptoms of coronavirus and guidance on staying at home, please visit the Gov.UK Coronavirus web page.
Thank you for your cooperation and support during this time.
