As both doting father and loving son, Oliver has first-hand experience of the daily challenges working families can face - all of which inspires and motivates him to help ensure other parents and carers can genuinely make work+family work.
In his role as Operations Manager for Backup Care, Oliver is responsible for smooth and seamless service delivery. He works closely with our dev team heroes to develop and implement improved systems and processes, as well as building and maintaining the UK's largest Backup Care provider network. He is of course passionate about outstanding customer service, working closely with our Team Leader, AJ, to ensure high customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
Oliver enthusiastically promotes My Family Care by attending client launches, networking events and trade fairs; recently he has taken on business development for Ireland. He often draws on his previous experience as a copywriter to help create engaging copy for our service delivery and marketing communications.
Oliver likes to unwind by challenging chess giants around the globe to an online battle of wits (sadly, he loses far more often than he wins). His other great love is fiction, with Zadie Smith and David Mitchell among his current literary icons.
It goes without saying that the joy of Oliver's life; the apple of his eye; and his greatest source of comic relief; is his beautiful little girl.
After graduating uni, Daniel decided to pursue a career in customer service in order to help people when they need it most. Working in the Backup Care team has enabled him to assist in our nanny recruitment process, as well as helping to manage providers during the booking and registration process.
Daniel is proud to be part of the team, and he is passionate about helping parents and carers make work+family work, by ensuring they have a smooth user experience.
When he is not helping people make work+family work, Daniel can be found watching his favourite football team* with his family and friends and he is an active member at his local tennis club. (*Hint, he's delighted we're located near Fulham Broadway - don't hold it against him.)
Daniel also makes the most of his weekends off by travelling across the UK to discover new areas and must see sights, and he enjoys trips further afield to European cities too.
Daniel looks forward to speaking to you soon.
