We're working to support parents

Understandably most nurseries and childminders are currently closed, but there is still a core group that remain open for bookings. Our unique provider network brings together all types of childcare that are currently available near you.

The current network now includes 100's of nurseries (both Bright Horizons and other providers), childminders, and in-home nannies nationwide.

We're adding other childcare providers on an on-going basis as their status changes, and we are close to nationwide coverage.

We've reduced our booking fee

When the world is 'normal' we charge a booking fee to cover the management cost of our service, during the extraordinary time of the lockdown period we're reducing this to 5% to make our childcare more accessible.

A word about pricing generally

There will always be less expensive childcare solutions out there. Emergency Childcare was developed to deliver very high-quality care and absolute peace of mind for parents.

We source, select and vet the best nannies and access only those nurseries and childminders who are flexible and good enough to accept last-minute bookings and deliver the standard of care we require.

Having waived our booking fees, nearly all of the fees end up in the hands of the childcare providers.

Emergency Childcare allows parents to book an emergency nanny, nursery or childminder across the UK with as little as 30 minutes' notice.

Our members have the peace of mind of knowing they've already got a backup plan in place, and are able to:
