For the average working parent in the UK, normal childcare arrangements will break down 9 times a year
When you think about it, that's quite a lot of last-minute childcare to find!
Obviously it impacts on you as a working parent in terms of taking valuable hours out of your working day, not to mention the time and stress you'll need to go to to find backup childcare.

Emergency Childcare lets working parents book an emergency nanny, nursery or childminder, anywhere in the UK with as little as 2 hours' notice.
Be prepared for life's little emergencies
Statistics show that within that 3 month period your normal childcare arrangements will break down at least once.
We allow parents to sign up quickly and choose to "pay as you go". This means no monthly memberships, but a higher booking fee of 20% applied to each booking. If you think you'll be booking several times a year, we offer monthly/annual membership plans, that reduce the booking fee to 5%.
